Refuge
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” Psalm 46:1
When the storms of this life seem like a long dark tunnel we cannot escape . . . Jesus is our stronghold . . . our light IN the tunnel . . . He is our Refuge.
Our ranch gathering, Refuge, is a place to come together and fellowship with the beloved, worship the King and hear simple messages of hope from God’s word. Folks can begin arriving at 6:15 pm.
The Refuge gathering is open to everyone. We gather as a ‘family’. There is no separate youth group or children’s church as we hold dear a core value that the family should worship together. Our children need to see Jesus in us.
During the warmer months Refuge will take place outdoors on the West Ranch property in the grassy amphitheater (19275 Innes Market Rd, Bend OR 97703).
We will have two options for seating based on your family’s needs.
- It’s time to, once again, enjoy an old fashioned “Drive In.” For those who wish to remain in, sit on, or beside their vehicles, the CPYR staff will designate parking spots towards the back of the pasture.
- For those who feel comfortable sitting outside, please bring chairs or blankets for seating on the grass.
We ask that you sit with those you came with and be considerate of the needs and desires of other families and individuals attending. Please be aware of spacing and be willing to social distance or wear a mask where distancing is not possible. We will have masks available for those who may need one.
Please note, we will not be serving food at this gathering. You may, of course, bring ice chests, picnic baskets, whatever! . . . full of yummy goodies to enjoy while we are together.
We are so looking forward to gathering as a Refuge family and to, once again, lift up worship to the King of Kings as one.
