Ignition Event
In 2005, Crystal Peaks held its first annual Information Clinic. In 2019, we renamed the event and it became Ignition: Every fire begins as a spark. Each spark is a point of Ignition. Paul writes in Hebrews 12:12, “Our God is an all-consuming fire”. Ministry in Him and for Him begins with that spark He plants in the hearts of us all.
The Crystal Peaks Ignition event is not only a time for individuals to learn the nuts and bolts of how to create a similar program; it is also an opportunity for great challenge and encouragement. Participants are able to meet with like-minded folks from across the nation and beyond.
Because our program's effectiveness is based on the genuine hope found only in Christ, this message is central to each event. Some of the topics addressed include: obtaining a 501(c)(3), legalities of non-profits, child and horse safety, communicating with kids, basic Natural Horsemanship, equine herd management, daily infrastructure, staff and volunteer programming, and fundraising.
