Harvest Day

Harvest Day

10/14/2021 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Harvest Day is an event that falls under our "Hope for the Family" pillar here at CPYR. This day is set aside each year to create an opportunity for kids to learn skills lost in our culture today, and to bring the whole family together for an afternoon of fun and learning. We offer kids the opportunity to learn the basics of gardening, sewing, woodworking and/or other skill-oriented crafts. Participants not only learn or advance in a new skill, but also get to take their handiwork home.

Classes are an hour long and require an RSVP. Space is available on a first come first serve basis. As a reminder, classes are for kids ages 6 - 18. A craft station will be available for kids five and under throughout the afternoon. Water, hot cocoa, cider and popcorn will be provided throughout the afternoon. Class sign-ups will take place a few weeks before Harvest Day. We will include more information on scheduling for Harvest Day when the event gets closer.
