Batten Down the Hatches
Batten Down the Hatches is one of the Ranch's large-scale volunteer opportunities held on a Saturday. The focus of the day is to work on several significant projects in order to prepare for the winter season. There will be plenty to do for everyone, from barn cleaning, fence repair, firewood cutting, and weeding...to stringing Christmas lights. By focusing these tasks into a single day, we will be embracing the "many hands make light work" theory!
In addition, if you would like to know more about Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, this is the perfect day to meet the staff, the founders (Kim and Troy Meeder), and to take a tour of the Ranch. Lunch will be provided as our thanks for your hard work. Please note: you do not need to be a current volunteer to take part in this special day.
If you have questions about participating in this event, please contact Ann Hawley at volunteer@cpyr.org.
