4th of July Parade
We would love to have you all join us on the Crystal Peaks float as we celebrate our troops, veterans and this great nation we are blessed to live in.
The Bible tells us, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." (Galatians 5"1, NIV)
This special day we remember and celebrate the freedom we have in Jesus and the gift of freedom He has granted us in the United States of America. Freedom is not free. We are gathering together to display our love and gratitude for the soldiers and first responders who make our freedom possible.
On the morning of the 4th, we will be meeting at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Redmond at the corner of Dogwood and 6th Street. Look for our horse trailer and a flatbed trailer with hay on it (our float). We will need lots of help decorating the float, banners, manure carts and ourselves!
Come decked out in red, white and/or blue! Thrift stores are a wonderful resource for clothing items that you might need for this event. Blue jeans and a red or white shirt are perfect. Though if you have something with stars and/or stripes that's even better!
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Everyone who wishes to be in the parade will need to be on the float at that time. When the parade is finished, we will return to where the trailers are parked. We would love everyone who is involved to stick around for a few minutes afterwards to help us take the decorations off the float, banners, trucks, manure carts and ourselves. Many hands get the job done really fast.
Things to bring: Sunscreen, water, snacks, camera
We hope to see you there!
