CANCELED - 4th of July Parade
In an effort to save your children and our horses from heat related ailments, we have made the decision to cancel our participation in the 2015, 4th of July parade.
We have always enjoyed involvement in the parade as it gives us the opportunity to thank veterans, be out in the community and spend fun times with all of our wonderful ranch families. Our concern for this year is that the weather has been predicted to be extremely hot. Adverse weather such as this is dangerous to young children and the elderly. In years past, those participating in the parade have at times had to sit on a horse or parade float, on the asphalt, for up to three hours.
Our first priority is the safety of those God has entrusted to our care. We desire to do our utmost to provide the best course of action for everyone. We understand this decision may create cause for conversation, so we invite you to contact us if you have questions.
