May 21-24, 2008 Sold Out!
June 4-7, 2008 Sold Out!
Until recently, Crystal Peaks was the only program of its type that we were aware of. In 2005 we held our first information clinic, designed to assist others interested in starting a similar ranch or ministry. Since then, quite a few more facilities have opened their doors to children and families as a result of these clinics and we are thrilled!
A Crystal Peaks clinic is not only a time for individuals to learn the nuts and bolts of creating a program similar, it is also a place for encouragement. Participants are able to meet with like-minded folks, support each other and share ideas.
Because we feel our program’s effectiveness is based on the hope that is only found through Christ, the message of Christ is therefore central to each Clinic.
We do our best to cover the most pertinent topics for those starting and maintaining a similar ministry. These topics include:

Obtaining a 501(c)(3)
Legalities of non-profits
Child & Horse Safety
Communicating with Kids
Basic Natural Horsemanship
Equine Herd Management
Daily Infrastructure
Staff & Volunteer Programming
Fundraising
Many of the sessions are lecture/Q&A format while other sessions will be observation based. The cost of the Clinic is $250 per person, which includes most meals during the duration of the event. Because of the long days and in-depth information, we do ask that the minimum age for participants be 18. Click here for a Sample Schedule.
Due to the limited number of spaces available for each clinic, we recommend postponing airline, car rental or hotel reservations until a registration confirmation email has been received.
We are blessed to say that both of our clinics are full for this year! If you are still interested in attending an information clinic at Crystal Peaks in the future please feel free to email development@cpyr.org with your name and contact information and we will notify you when we set the dates for next years clinics.
If you have further questions, please contact Julie Love at development@cpyr.org or (541) 389-6523.
