Camping
Though the weather can be unpredictable throughout the year in the Bend area, if you are willing to take the chance and rough it, there are many camping areas located throughout Central Oregon. The closest camping area is Tumalo State Park which is about 5 miles from the ranch (541-388-6055). If you would like to make reservations, call quickly as Tumalo is a popular camping spot.
Airports
For those who will be flying, Bend is approximately 4 hours from Portland International Airport and 30 minutes from the Redmond Municipal Airport. Both airports have car rental facilities.
