Why you felt or feel called to Crystal Peaks: I feel called to CPYR because of the heart behind the ranch. God is the center, the epitome of what we do here. When I came to check out the ranch the minute I walked onto the property I could feel the love and acceptance, the grace of Christ. That is the heart I wish to have, a heart of love and grace. Also, horses have been a part of my entire life and I LOVE to share them with others. But I would have to say the biggest reason of all is because God asked if I was willing and I said yes.

Areas of Ministry on the Ranch (what you do on the ranch on a regular basis): I lead lessons, I work in the office, I work with the horses and I am the go to person for the art and photography projects.

Favorite thing about CPYR or about being here: The look on someone’s face, child or adult, when they realize how wide and how deep the Fathers love for us is. When they realize there is more here than human love and acceptance, they realize there is someone much bigger who cares about them and wanted them to know it. This ranch and we as the staff are just His vessels. I would also have to say that being able to combine my three most treasured things in life, Christ, people and horses, is such an answer to years of prayer.

What do you do in your freetime: train horses (a lot!), spend time with friends, photography, gaming (barrel racing, pole bending, etc.), take road trips, love to watch good thought provoking movies, drink coffee, sing worship with friends, am learning to play the piano, I love laughing.

Favorite Ice Cream: Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip

Likes (what do you like in life, food, movies, etc.): God’s creation, traveling, flowers, photography, road trips, making a really nice meal, being surrounded by true friends, snowboarding, mountains, the ocean, the movie Seabiscuit, having theological discussions, ice skating, coffee, chicken alfredo fettuccine, bell peppers, fruit, creative people, late night talks, running my toes through the sand, taking late night walks, watching the sunset/sunrise, being outside, piano, I love to observe people and get to know them, psychology intrigues me, waterfalls.

One unique/funny fact about yourself: I drove away from the gas station while the gas was still pumping! The bad part was I had to go back and get the rest of my gas!
