Why you felt or feel called to Crystal Peaks: I started coming out to Crystal Peaks when I was 12 years and was in the riding program. As I got older I too started to have a passion for broken kids much like myself at that age. I guess I just can’t picture the Ranch not being part of my life, and I would hate to not ever be a part of the Ranch.

Areas of Ministry on the Ranch (what you do on the ranch on a regular basis): Hang out with kids, think up and play games, teach riding lessons, train horses, build things, buck hay…

Favorite thing about CPYR or about being here: Helping and facilitating a place where kids can learn how to be kids…

What do you do in your freetime: Usually I spend that time with the kids that are at the ranch; mostly just playing with them.

Favorite Ice Cream: Mint Chocolate Chip… the green kind.

Likes (what do you like in life, food, movies, etc.): I love being outdoors!!! I always feel the closest to the Lord when I am up hiking in the mountains or riding my horse through creeks. I just love to be in the wilderness, and the best thing is is that we have a lot of amazing places to do it here. I love pretty much any kind of food… its fun to try new things, and you never know if you like it if you haven’t tried it yet. I love to play, and to think of crazy fun things to do... mostly anything that might get you a little dirty!

One unique/funny fact about yourself: That I will eat anything… for example: We were playing a game were kids would run from one side of the arena to the next, and pick up a piece of watermelon. They would put it in their mouth and squish it up and spit the juice into a cup. At the end of the game, Rachel (our volunteer coordinator) and I drank two of the three teams watermelon juice spit cups… yum yum!
